Cooking Class Ranch Experience
Learn the intricacies of cooking 100% grass fed beef and prepare three recipes with Chef Matt. Then sit down and enjoy a steak lunch including seasonal veggies from our garden. After lunch, drive 10 minutes through beautiful Sonoma County to Freestone Ranch to tour the land where the cows grazed, meet the ranchers, and learn about the important role cows play in the ecosystem. After the tour we'll send you home with extra cuts of beef to practice what you have learned.

The experience begins with a cooking class in a beautiful kitchen on a farm in Sebastopol. Chef Matt will teach you everything you need to know to cook your beef perfectly every time. You'll prepare three recipes together and sit down to a delicious steak lunch with steak from Freestone Ranch. After lunch you will make the 10 minute scenic drive to Freestone Ranch where you will meet the ranchers and the cows and see firsthand where your food comes from. Sip bone-broth as the sun begins to set over the picturesque rolling hills of Sonoma County. Bring a cooler because you will take home some frozen beef to practice what you have learned.

The cooking class takes place at Grow Kitchen, located on a beautiful rural property in Sebastopol. After lunch you will drive to Freestone Ranch. It's a 10 minute drive through the most beautiful part of West Sonoma County. Freestone is a tiny town west of Sebastopol and 10 minutes from the coast.
